HOLY FAMILY SAAC VISITS HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- On April 3, nine members of the Holy Family University Student Athlete Advisory Committee took time out of their schedules to visit with patients at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children.

The student-athletes dyed Easter eggs with about fifteen patients, also did other activities with them during the visit. The patients really enjoyed the activities with the student-athletes. They had smiles on their faces and they made fancy designs with their eggs, sang songs and even danced with the student-athletes in the hospital playroom. The student-athletes enjoyed taking the time to bring some joy into the lives of young people who are presently being hospitalized.

Several of the student-athletes have visited patients at St. Christopher's before, and for others it was their first time. They all realize the importance of giving back and encouraging young people, and they had a great time doing so on this occasion.
