On Tuesday, November 27, 2007, student-athletes from Holy Family University's SAAC took time out of their schedules to visit with children who are patients at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, in Philadelphia, PA.  St. Christopher's Hospital provides a range of health care services for children and youth up to the age of 21.

SAAC members who attended included members of Holy Family's Men's and Women's basketball teams, as well as the Women's Soccer team.  The student-athletes brought holiday ornaments for the children to decorate.  The children had a fun time decorating the ornaments, which included oversized "Santa" boots, and snowmen, all in the spirit of the holiday season.

The student-athletes joined the children in the activities, and also interacted with them as well.  They asked them about things such as their favorite sports and favorite subjects in school.  It was a wonderful experience for the children as well as the student-athletes.  It was nice to be able to brighten their day, and the student-athletes looks forward to the opportunity to visit again.
