CACC ANNOUNCES 2008 SPRING ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM

NEW HAVEN, CT--The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) is pleased to announce its All-Academic team for the 2008 spring athletic season. A total of 72 student-athletes were named among the 13 conference schools. Included are 14 repeat selections, while 16 student-athletes were named for the third time in their careers.

In order to be named to the CACC All-Academic team, recipients must have participated in a spring CACC-sponsored championship sport, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have been a student at their current school for at least two semesters, and achieve a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.50 or higher through the preceding semester. A total of 204 student-athletes earned All-Academic honors in the fall, winter and spring this year. The list of spring recipients is below.
