NEW HAVEN, Conn. (January 4, 2018) -- Zhane Robinson of Bloomfield College has been named the U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) Division II National Player of the Week for the week ending Dec. 31.
The senior forward was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player of the Week after logging a doubledouble with 41 points and 18 rebounds in an 80-67 win over Felician on New Year’s Eve.
Robinson shot 50 percent (13-of-26) from the field, including 5-of-8 from three-point range, and was 10-of-12 (83.3 percent) at the free-throw line. The Newark, N.J., native also logged two assists, two blocks and two steals.
