GLASS SELECTED WOMEN'S LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

NEW HAVEN, CT - Carley Glass of Chestnut Hill College has been selected the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, April 13. Holy Family University's Gina Mansi was named Rookie of the Week.

Glass, a junior midfielder from Baltimore, MD, registered 14 goals in three contests last week, including a nine-goal performance in a win over Dominican. She also recorded eight assists, with four coming against both Dominican and Holy Family. In addition, she collected seven ground balls, six draw controls and caused two turnovers.

Mansi, a freshman attack from Washington Twp., NJ, recorded seven total goals in two games against Wilmington and Chestnut Hill last week. She scored four times against the Wildcats and added three draw controls and two ground balls.

Honorable Mention 

Lauren Conaty, Georgian Court (So., M, Point Pleasant, NJ) - Scored five goals on eight shots in a 22-8 victory over Wilmington.

Sarah Davis, Philadelphia (Sr., A, 5-9, Dublin, OH) - Tallied three goals and one assists in a loss to Molloy.

CACC Notes

Chestnut Hill - Carley Glass totaled 14 goals in three contests last week, including a nine-goal performance in the win over Dominican College. She also recorded eight assists with four coming in each of the conference contests. In addition, she collected seven ground balls, six draw controls, and caused two turnovers for the week.

Holy Family\ - Holy Family is still searching for its first program win after two conference losses last week to Wilmington (Del.) and Chestnut Hill. Attack Gina Mansi led the offense with seven goals in the two games. Midfielder Katherine Podlinski added four goals and six draw controls during the week. This week, Holy Family hosts Georgian Court (Tue.) and Philadelphia (Thu.) before visiting Dominincan (N.Y.) (Sat.).

Philadelphia - The Lady Rams went 0-1 on the week and will return to CACC action this week with games at Chestnut Hill (4/14) and Holy Family (4/16) before returning home to host #2 nationally-ranked Adelphi (4/18) at 1 p.m.
