CRYSTAL MURDOCK PICKS UP VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS

NEW HAVEN, CT - Crystal Murdock of Georgian Court University has
picked up Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Volleyball
Player of the Week honors after leading her team to its third
straight conference championship. Caldwell College's Lauren Roth
was tabbed Rookie of the Week.
Murdock, a 5-8 senior middle hitter from Manahawkin, NJ, was named MVP of the CACC Tournament after leading the Lions to their third straight championship. She averaged 2.55 kills per-set at a .645 hitting percentage. She tied her own tournament record with an .818 hitting percentage in the championship match against Philadelphia (9 kills, 0 errors, 11 attempts).
Roth, a freshman setter from Findlay, OH, averaged 7.75 assists, 2.38 digs and 1.13 kills per-set in two CACC Tournament matches last week. She recorded 40 assists, six kills and 10 digs in a quarter-final victory over Nyack.
