CACC Commissioner Dan Mara Serving as Chair of NCAA Division II Student-Athlete Reinstatement Committee
December 06, 2019NEW HAVEN, Conn. (December 6, 2019) -- Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Commissioner Dan Mara has been elected to serve as the chair of the NCAA Division II Student-Athlete Reinstatement (SAR) Committee. He will serve in that capacity through September of 2020. -
GCU & HFU Combine to Have Five Standouts Earn 2019 AVCA Women's Volleyball East Region Honors
December 06, 2019NEW HAVEN, Conn. (December 6, 2019) -- Georgian Court University and Holy Family University, who squared off in the 2019 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Volleyball Championship Final last month, combined this week to have five standouts earn All-East Region honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA). Three of the standouts were named to the All-East First Team including Amy Bruno (GCU), Carly Covington (HFU) and Kinsy Haschke (GCU), while Holy Family's Gianna Pesognelli and Morgan Silks each earned honorable-mention status. -
Five CACC Women's Volleyball Standouts Named to the 2019 D2CCA East Region Team
December 06, 2019NEW HAVEN, Conn. (December 6, 2019) -- Five Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) women's volleyball standouts this week were named to the 2019 D2CCA East Region Team, as announced by the organization of Division II Conference Commissioners. The group included first-team honorees Carly Covington (Holy Family University), Sierra Gallagher (Felician University) and Morgan Silks (Holy Family). A pair of Georgian Court University standouts were placed on the second team including Kinsy Haschke and Amy Bruno. -
Four CACC Standouts Named 2019 CoSIDA Academic All-Americans
December 06, 2019NEW HAVEN, Conn. (December 6, 2019) -- Four Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) men's soccer standouts this week were named 2019 CoSIDA Academic All-Americans, as announced by the national organization of sports information directors. The four that were featured included a trio from Wilmington University -- Lorne Bickley, Dimitrios Topouzlis, Joe Bell -- and Paris Bruhn from Chestnut Hill College. -
#7 Holy Family Knocks Off #2 Bentley 3-1 in First Round of NCAA Division II East Region Tournament

(December 5, 2019) – The Holy Family University women's volleyball team will be heading back to the NCAA Division II East Region semifinals after defeating second-seeded Bentley University, 3-1, in the quarterfinal round on Thursday afternoon at Molloy College's Quealy Gymnasium. -
