BRONXVILLE, N.Y. (Septebmer 6, 2019) – Concordia College New York's Kathy Laoutaris has been named the Director of Athletics & Campus Life, as announced by President John Arthur Nunes. Laoutaris, who has served as the Director of Athletics since the 2016-17 academic year, will continue to captain the Athletic Department while also overseeing the Student Experience Department.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (September 4, 2019) -- The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) on Wednesday announced its Hall of Fame Class of 2019, which includes four individuals and one team. The announcement was made by CACC Commissioner Dan Mara, as the four individuals included Catherine Carr (Holy Family University, Women's Basketball), Ron Kornegay (Monmouth University, Men's Basketball), Devon Young (Felician University Men's Basketball) and Chrissy Woodruff (University of the Sciences, Women's Cross Country). The 2005-06 Goldey-Beacom College Men's Golf squad also earned a spot in the Class of 2019, as the team inductee. Kornegay enters the CACC Hall of Fame as a Legacy honoree, as he played for the school in the 60s, when the institution was a member of the conference.
CLEVELAND, Ohio (August 30, 2019) – The Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2 CCA) and Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) have teamed up to create the "Collegiate P2R" program to address the officiating crisis facing amateur athletics in the United States of America. (August 22, 2019) -- Goldey-Beacom College, winners of two of the last three conference titles, was picked to finish first in the 2019 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Tennis Preseason Coaches Poll, as announced on Thursday by Commissioner Dan Mara. The Lightning, who earned a share of last season's CACC regular season title while also capturing the NCAA Division II East Region Championship, earned 96 points in the voting, including six first-place votes. Voting for the poll was conducted by the league's 10 head coaches in the sport.
