BOWLER OF THE WEEK
KYRA WALTER, Dominican (SO, West Babylon, N.Y.) – Was the individual champion at the New Jersey Open, hosted by Fairleigh Dickinson University at Bowler City. Shot 1063 for five traditional games (212.6 average), with a high of 245. Produced an overall frame average of 19.67. Helped the Chargers to a fourth-place finish of 11 teams and a 6-6 dual-match record.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
JENNA JUMP, Dominican (FR, Port Byron, N.Y.) – Had the best Baker frame average among CACC bowlers at the New Jersey Open of 19.84 and the second-best overall frame average of 19.10. Tied for 22nd in the individual standings with 891 for five traditional games, including a pair of 210 efforts. Struck at a 46.4-percent rate.
HONOR ROLL
VICTORIA FORBES, Chestnut Hill – Concluded traditional play at the New Jersey Open with a 214 to finish 16th with a 183.2 average.
MARIA HINDMAN, Holy Family – The Tigers’ top finisher at the New Jersey Open, rolling 840 for five matches.
VIVIAN LUNA, Felician – Placed sixth at the New Jersey Open, including second among CACC bowlers, with a 196.4 traditional average.
OLIVIA SALVATORE, Felician – Averaged 178.8 in traditional play and 18.09 per frame during Baker action at the New Jersey Open.
ALEX SARDIS, Caldwell – Her 17.81 overall frame average was fifth among CACC bowlers at the New Jersey Open.
ANGELINA TATI, Dominican – Finished 13th at the New Jersey Open. Had a 217 traditional game while averaging 184.6.
