Gaminara is First CACC Student-Athlete of the Month for 2025-26

September Award Goes to Caldwell Women's Soccer Goalkeeper

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (October 23, 2025) – Caldwell University women’s soccer player Ariana Gaminara has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Student-Athlete of the Month for September 2025, CACC Commissioner Dan Mara announced today. Gaminara earned the award for demonstrating success on the field during the month, while also being a standout in the classroom and giving back to her community.

Gaminara, a senior goalkeeper from Las Vegas, Nev., went 5-1-1 with four shutouts and a 1.57 goals-against average during seven September games. She was named the CACC Goalkeeper of the Week on Sept. 28, coming off making seven saves, including stopping a penalty kick, during a 1-0 win over Chestnut Hill College.

A two-time All-CACC selection, Gaminara is Caldwell’s all-time leader in wins (32), shutouts (24), goals-against average (0.92), and save percentage (.827). She topped the conference in GAA (0.95) and save percentage (.850) in 2023. Gaminara has won the CACC Goalkeeper of the Week Award eight times during her Cougar career.

Academically, Gaminara maintains a 3.74 cumulative grade-point average as a business major. She is a two-time selection to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Team and a two-time CACC All-Academic Honoree.

Gaminara is a member of the Caldwell Women’s Soccer Leadership Committee and represents the team on the Cougars’ Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. On Sept. 26, she was a participant in Cougar Day of Service. Gaminara is also a youth development coach and goalkeeper coach with the Sticks n Kicks Soccer Club.

Gaminara is the first monthly honoree for the 2025-26 academic year. The CACC Student-Athlete of the Month Award is handed out from September to May and recognizes one student-athlete from any sport active during that month.

Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 20 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 17 sports – seven for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 11 full members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
