NEW HAVEN, Conn. (November 11, 2025) – Eight Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference cross-country student-athletes, including six from Thomas Jefferson University, were named to the 2025 NCAA Division II All-East Region Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association. The USTFCCCA announced honorees from all eight NCAA Division-II regions on Monday.
Runners earned all-region distinction by virtue of a top-25 finish at the D-II East Region Championship on Nov. 8 in Hopkinton, N.H. Four CACC men attained the honor, led by national qualifiers Julian Jones of Wilmington University and Dylan Boyle of Jefferson. Jones finished second at the regional meet, completing 10,000 meters in 31:34, while Boyle was ninth with a time of 32:22. Jones was the 2025 CACC Runner of the Year and Boyle claimed the league’s Rookie of the Year award.
Also being named All-Region on the men’s side were Goldey-Beacom College freshman Eerik Wihlborg (14th, 32:44), and Jefferson freshman Theirno Barry (22nd, 33:15).
En route to a third-place team finish and automatic qualification to the NCAA Division II Championship, the Jefferson women placed four runners on the All-Region Team, headed by CACC Runner of the Year and Rookie of the Year Olivia Grahn. Grahn traversed 6,000 meters in 22:14 to place seventh at the East Region Championship
Grahn was followed in the top 25 by teammates Annalee Capuano (12th, 22:44), Natalie McFadden (14th, 22:50), and Milana Daiute (24th, 23:23). Capuano is an All-Region selection for the third time in her career.
Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 20 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 17 sports – seven for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 11 full members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
