Post, Wilmington Ranked Regionally in Men's Soccer

Eagles No. 4, Wildcats No. 7 Heading into CACC Tournament

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (November 6, 2025) – Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference members Post University and Wilmington University are among the 12 teams listed in the latest 2025 NCAA Division II Super-Region 1 Men’s Soccer Ranking, the D-II Men’s Soccer Committee released on Wednesday. Post is ranked fourth in the super-region, while Wilmington sits at No. 7.

Division II Super-Region 1 consists of the East and Atlantic Regions. The rankings for all four super-regions can be viewed at https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/soccer-men/d2/regional-rankings.

Post (7-1-7, 6-0-4 CACC) is the CACC regular-season champion for the fifth consecutive season. The Eagles are the top seed for the CACC Championship tournament, which begins on Sunday. Wilmington (10-3-4, 5-2-3) will be the No. 3 seed for that event. The CACC champion automatically qualifies for the NCAA Tournament.

The NCAA will announce the 40-team field for the 2025 Division II Men’s Soccer Championship on Monday, November 17, at 7 p.m. Super-Region 1 will receive automatic qualifiers from the CACC, East Coast Conference, Mountain East Conference, Northeast 10 Conference, and Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, plus five at-large berths.

Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 20 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 17 sports – seven for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 11 full members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
