CACC WOMEN’S BASKETBALL – December 22, 2025

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ANE VALLE, Felician (JR, F, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain) – Fell just shy of a triple-double with 23 points, 12 rebounds, nine assists, and five steals during the Golden Falcons’ 75-70 victory over Saint Michael’s on Friday. Shot 56 percent and averaged 21.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 7.0 assists during a 2-0 week.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

ANA PELLECCHIA, Jefferson (FR, G, Mullica Hill, N.J.) – Came off the bench to record season highs of 12 points and seven rebounds during an 80-65 loss at Millersville on Friday. Averaged 7.0 points and 5.0 rebounds in 17.0 minutes per game during the Rams’ 1-1 week.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

BROOKE CORBETT, Caldwell (JR, F, Staten Island, N.Y.) – Nearly recorded a triple-double with 11 points, nine rebounds, and 10 steals during a 67-47 win over Saint Michael’s on Sunday. The 10 steals are tied for the second-most by a Division-II player this season. Averaged 8.0 rebounds (3.5 defensive), 7.5 steals and 1.0 blocks as the Cougars allowed 47.0 points per game during a 2-0 week.

 

HONOR ROLL

RORY CISZKOWSKI, Goldey-Beacom – Averaged 13.0 points and 6.0 rebounds and was 5 for 10 from three-point range in two starts for the Lightning.
JAH’NEL LEWIS, Caldwell – Averaged 18.5 points and 4.5 steals as the Cougars went 2-0. Surpassed 1200 career points.
KARA MEREDITH, Holy Family – Averaged 14.0 points and 4.0 rebounds and was 5 of 10 from distance during a 1-1 week for the Tigers.
LAUREN PALANGIO, Holy Family – Shot 69 percent and averaged 10.0 points and 4.0 rebounds as HFU split a pair of contests.
CAROLYN SIPPRELL, Jefferson – Scored 11.5 points with 8.5 rebounds per game during a 1-1 week for the Rams.
EMILY SPRATT, Jefferson – Averaged 16.0 points, 3.5 assists, and 4.0 steals during the Rams’ 1-1 week.
