NEW HAVEN, Conn. (August 20, 2025) – Three Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Soccer Teams are ranked in the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II national preseason Top 25 polls. The Felician University men are ranked No. 8 and the men’s squad of Post University sits in the No. 15 spot. On the women’s side, Thomas Jefferson University owns a preseason national ranking of No. 11.
The Felician men (17-4-3, 7-2-2 in 2024) became the first CACC soccer team to reach the NCAA D-II national quarterfinals last year when they advanced past Post (13-5-5, 8-1-2) on penalty kicks during the tournament’s Third Round. The Eagles were the 2024 CACC men’s regular-season champion before the Golden Falcons defeated, Post, 1-0, in the conference championship final.
Jefferson (19-1-3, 11-0) went undefeated during 2024 regular-season women’s conference play, then captured the CACC tournament championship. The Rams went on to reach the East Region final of the NCAA Tournament.
The 2025 NCAA Division II regular season begins on September 4.
Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 20 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 17 sports – seven for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 11 full members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
