CACC WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL – September 22, 2025

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

EMILY McKENNA, Jefferson (JR, OH, Drexel Hill, Pa.) – Averaged 3.92 kills and 2.92 digs per set with a .220 attack percentage during a 3-0 week for the Rams. Hit .500 with 16 kills during a three-set CACC-opening win over Chestnut Hill on Sept. 17. Produced double-doubles during victories over Southern Connecticut State and Millersville on Saturday.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

MACKENZIE LAYTON, Holy Family (FR, OH, Clarksboro, N.J.) – Hit .315 with 3.35 kills per set during a 3-2 week for the Tigers. Attacked at a .406 rate with 17 kills and five aces during Friday’s four-set win over Daemen. Put down season-best 19 kills during Saturday’s five-set loss to Franklin Pierce.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ALYSSA GROVES, Post (SR, L, Phoenix, Ariz.) – Helped extend the Eagles’ program-record start to 9-0 by averaging 4.89 digs, 1.22 aces and 1.00 assists per set during three three-set victories. Closed the week with 19 digs against St. Thomas Aquinas.

SETTER OF THE WEEK

MIA WISE, Holy Family (FR, S, Genoa, Ill.) – Ran the Tigers’ offense during a 3-2 week, averaging 10.90 assists, 1.85 digs and 0.45 aces per set. Accumulated 45 assists, 14 digs and three aces during Friday’s win over Daemen. Produced season-high 58 assists in Saturday’s five-set loss to Franklin Pierce.

ALEXANDRA DE IASI, Dominican – Hit .205 with 3.63 kills and 2.63 digs per set as the Chargers split a pair of matches.
KARLA NUNEZ-RIVERA, Wilmington – Averaged 3.00 kills and 2.00 digs per set during a 3-2 week for th Wildcats.
KRISTINA PERIC, Post – Averaged 3.78 kills and 3.22 digs per set in helping the Eagles to a 3-0 week.
WYETTE SCHUBERT-BROWN, Caldwell – Hit .233 with 3.40 kills per set during three Cougar matches.
ALANA SCOTT, Goldey-Beacom – Hit .272 with 3.15 kills per set during the Lightning’s four matches.
GENESIS SIMANCA, Georgian Court – Averaged 2.84 kills, 2.63 digs, and 0.63 aces per set over four Lion matches.
