Four CACC Soccer Teams Ranked in National Coaches Polls

Both Wilmington Squads, Jefferson Women, Felician Men Among Nation's Best

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (September 23, 2025) – Four Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference soccer teams – two women’s and two men’s squads – are listed in the latest United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division II national rankings released today.

The Thomas Jefferson University women’s team (5-1, 1-0 CACC), which had received votes the previous week, moved into the No. 12 spot in the ranking. Wilmington University (4-0-2, 1-0-1) moved up two slots to No. 14 on this week’s women’s list.

On the men’s side, the CACC’s two representatives held steady from their national rankings of last week. Wilmington (4-0-2, 1-0-1) sits in the No. 16 spot, while Felician University (3-1-1, 1-0) is ranked No. 22.

Jefferson and Wilmington hold the top two spots in the United Soccer Coaches D-II East Region women’s ranking. CACC member Caldwell University (3-0-1, 2-0) is the No. 10 team in the region. In the men’s East Region ranking, Wilmington is second, Felician third, and Post University (1-0-3, 1-0) sixth. Post and Felician meet in Rutherford, N.J., on Wednesday.

 

Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 20 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 17 sports – seven for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 11 full members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
