PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ROCKO BRZEZNIAK, Felician (SR, OF, Matawan, N.J.) – Was 8 for 13 (.615) with four home runs, six runs scored, and nine RBI during a 3-0 week for Felician. Slugged 1.538 with a .667 on-base percentage. Hit all four home runs during Friday’s sweep of Adelphi, including a school-record three with seven RBI in Game 1. Did not strike out in 15 plate appearances.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK AND ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

BRODY GEBHARD, Wilmington (FR, RHP, Lancaster, Pa.) – Started and pitched five perfect innings in his collegiate debut, earning the victory in an eventual 4-2 win over Franklin Pierce in Game 2 on Friday in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Threw 70 pitches. Struck out nine batters out of 15.

 

HONOR ROLL

CHASE FLEMING, Wilmington – Was 4 for 11 and slugged .818 with seven RBI during a 3-1 week for the Wildcats. Allowed one run on two hits over four innings in a pitching no-decision.
JAYREN FOSTER, Post – Batted .476 with four doubles, six runs and seven RBI during a 3-2 week for the Eagles.
TYLER HODELLA, Bridgeport – Earned a three-inning save in a victory over Molloy, allowing no hits and striking out five.
ROMAN KEITH, Goldey-Beacom – Hit. 429 with two doubles despite an 0-3 week for the Lightning.
JOSEPH KELLY, Chestnut Hill – Earned a victory in his first start for the Griffins, allowing three runs on six hits over six innings with six strikeouts.
JACKSON SHOLLENBERGER, Chestnut Hill – Went 3 for 5 with a triple in two offensive starts and pitched a scoreless inning of relief during a 1-2 week for the Griffins.
KORY WILLIAMS, Goldey-Beacom – Allowed one run on five hits with six strikeouts and one walk over eight innings in a no-decision against Frostburg State.
