CACC MEN’S SOCCER – August 31, 2026

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
BARTU YAKKAN, Felician (SR, F, Nijmegen, Netherlands) – Had a hand in all five goals for the Golden Falcons during a 1-1 week. Scored twice during a 3-2 opening loss at Bloomsburg on Aug. 27. Followed with a goal and two assists as Felician topped American International, 3-0, on Sunday.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
MICHEL BOSE, Felician (FR, M, Umag, Croatia) – Recorded two goals, including one in the fourth minute to open the scoring, as the Golden Falcons defeated American International, 3-0, on Sunday as part of a 1-1 week.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
TIM WILK, Georgian Court (SR, D, Toms River, N.J.) – Played all 180 minutes as part of a Lion defensive effort that allowed three goals during an 0-0-2 opening week which included a 1-1 draw with No. 19 Bentley. Headed home a corner kick to aid a second-half comeback for a 2-2 tie with Saint Michael’s.

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
FRANCISCO PINOCHET, Post (SR, GK, Santiago, Chile) – Began the season with a three-save shutout as the Eagles played to a 0-0 draw with No. 14 Franklin Pierce. Faced 15 shots and played to a 0.50 goals-against average and an .800 save percentage during a 1-0-1 week.

 

HONOR ROLL

DANE BODZIAK, Chestnut Hill – Scored twice during a victory over Lackawanna as part of the Griffins’ 1-1 week.
SAMUEL MACY, Wilmington – Totaled two goals and an assist during a 1-1 week for the Wildcats.
KRISTIANS PRIEDITIS, Bridgeport – Notched a team-best four points (1g 2a) as the Purple Knights got off to an 0-0-2 start.
SANDER RYNNING, Georgian Court – Scored a goal and assisted on another during GCU’s comeback 2-2 draw with Saint Michael’s as part of an 0-0-2 week.
CHARLIE TECKE, Caldwell – Had a goal and an assist in his first career game, a win over Saint Michael’s as part of a 1-1 week.
AIDAN TROSS, Post – Scored tiebreaking game-winner during a victory over Adelphi.
