RUNNER OF THE WEEK AND ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
KENAI BLACK, Wilmington (FR, Elkton, Md.) – Was the individual champion of the Philadelphia Cross Classic. His 8,000-meter time of 27:37 at Belmont Plateau bested a field of 59 runners and was 39 seconds better than his nearest competitor. Led the Wildcats to a narrow 32-35 victory over Jefferson in the seven-team field.
HONOR ROLL
DYLAN BOYLE, Jefferson – Was the runner-up at the Philadelphia Cross Classic with an 8K time of 28:16.
DESHAWN DOUGLAS, Dominican – Finished sixth of 110 at the Purchase Invite, clocking in at 20:46 for 6K.
RYAN PETTROW, Goldey-Beacom – Ran fourth of 99 at the Stevens Back to the Bowl Invite with a 5K time of 16:51.
JULIAN RICH, Wilmington – Helped the Wildcats to the team title at the Philadelphia Cross Classic, finishing fourth in 28:52 (8K).
RICHARD RIOPEL, Georgian Court – Ran a 17:28 5K at the Stevens Back to the Bowl Invite to place 20th.
EDOARDO VANDELLI, Bridgeport – Set the school 5K record of 16:51 to finish 19th (8th among D-II) at the Hartford Invite.
