PLAYER OF THE WEEK
GIJS VAN EIF, Georgian Court (SR, F, Kortenhoef, Netherlands) – Recorded seven points during a 2-0 week for the Lions. Scored twice as GCU topped Staten Island, 4-1, at home on Sept. 3. Tied a school record with three assists during Sunday’s 5-2 triumph over Pittsburgh-Johnstown.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
EMMANUEL SAMPSON, Chestnut Hill (FR, M, Darby, Pa.) – Scored a goal in each match of a 0-1-1 week for the Griffins. Notched his first collegiate score during a 4-2 loss to Pittsburgh-Johnstown on Sept. 3. Picked up CHC’s only marker of a 1-1 draw with Shippensburg on Saturday.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MIGUEL GRANEDA, Holy Family (JR, D, Valladolid, Spain) – Keyed the Tigers’ defensive performance in a 2-1 victory over regionally-ranked Queens (N.Y.) on Sept. 2. Scored HFU’s goal during Saturday’s 2-1 setback to Shepherd.

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
LENNOX BLUE LEBELT, Georgian Court (Fr, GK, Berlin, Germany) – Earned the victory in his first career start as the Lions defeated Staten Island, 4-1, on Sept. 3. Faced 10 shots, made four saves, and was within two minutes of a shutout.

ATA AKGUN, Bridgeport – Had a goal and an assist in UB’s victory over No. 3 Franklin Pierce as part of a 1-1 week.
ELIASS ELFASOUKHI, Post – Scored two early goals during a victory over Bentley as part of the Eagles’ 1-1 week.
LOIC FOSTERLING, Bridgeport – Scored the Purple Knights’ first goal of an eventual 3-2 victory over No. 3 Franklin Pierce.
FRANCISCO PINOCHET, Post – Faced 24 shots with a 1.50 goals-against average and a .727 save percentage during the Eagles’ 1-1 week.
NOAH ROSA, Dominican – Scored the game-tying goal of the Chargers’ 1-1 draw with Pace.
LUCCA SAAD, Holy Family – Had an assist and the GWG during a victory over regionally-ranked Queens as part of a 1-1 week for the Tigers.
