ZAKARI McQUEEN, Goldey-Beacom – Sophomore guard recorded 29 points and five rebounds during the Lightning’s 84-80 triumph over Bloomfield on Saturday. Went 11 for 17 from the field and canned five three-pointers.

TRE POWELL, Goldey-Beacom – Accumulated 17 points, eight rebounds and six assists as GBC topped Bloomfield in CACC action on Saturday during its only game of the week.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

EDWARD NGENE, Bloomfield – Posted 16 rebounds (13 defensive), nine blocks and two steals during Saturday’s loss at Goldey-Beacom. Averaged 13.5 rebounds (10.5 defensive) and 6.0 blocks during a 1-1 week for the Bears.
