Rams, Wildcats Women's Soccer Still Ranked in East

Selection Show on Monday, Two Days After CACC Final

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (November 14, 2025) – Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference members Thomas Jefferson University and Wilmington University remained among the eight teams listed in the latest 2025 NCAA Division II East Region Women’s Soccer Ranking, the D-II Women’s Soccer Committee released on Wednesday. Jefferson held steady at No. 4 in the region, while Wilmington moved up one spot to No. 7.

Wilmington (11-2-6) has reached the final round of the CACC Championship tournament. The Wildcats will face Caldwell University on Saturday at noon in Waterbury, Conn. The winner receives the CACC’s automatic berth into the 2025 NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Championship. Jefferson (15-2-1) was defeated in the semifinals of the CACC Tournament by Wilmington on Nov. 11.

The NCAA will announce the 56-team field for the 2025 D-II Women’s Soccer Championship on Monday, November 17 at 6:30 p.m. The East Region will receive automatic qualifiers from the CACC, East Coast Conference, and Northeast 10 Conference and three at-large berths.

Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 20 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 17 sports – seven for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 11 full members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
