NEW HAVEN, Conn. (November 19, 2025) – Post University graduate student Kristina Peric has been voted the 2025 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women’s Volleyball Player of the Year. Peric, who was also named to the All-CACC First Team at outside hitter, headlines the all-conference teams and major award winners announced today by CACC Commissioner Dan Mara. The voting was conducted by the conference’s 11 head coaches.

Goldey-Beacom College freshman middle blocker Gabi Fullwood was selected as the 2025 CACC Women’s Volleyball Rookie of the Year. Post University senior Alyssa Groves repeated as the Defensive Player of the Year, while Holy Family University freshman Mia Wise was chosen as the Setter of the Year. Fullwood, Groves, and Wise were also elected to the All-CACC First Team. Holy Family head coach Collin Sibilia was named the 2025 Athletic Solutions CACC Coach of the Year and Caldwell University is the winner of the Women’s Volleyball Team Sportsmanship Award for the second year in a row.

Groves, of Phoenix, Ariz., became the CACC’s career digs leader during Tuesday’s conference quarterfinals, currently with 2540. She was also the CACC Defensive Player of the Year in 2024. This season, she leads the league and is ranked third nationally with 5.90 digs per set. The seven-time CACC Defensive Player of the Week will help lead the regionally-ranked Eagles into Saturday’s conference semifinals.
