Post Earns Top Seed for 2025 CACC Men's Soccer Championship

Tournament Begins with Sunday's Quarterfinals

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (November 8, 2025) – After winning its fifth consecutive Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference men’s soccer regular-season championship, Post University will be the No. 1 seed for the upcoming CACC Men’s Soccer Championship Tournament. The seedings and schedule for that event have been announced by CACC Commissioner Dan Mara.

Post (7-1-7, 6-0-4 CCC) is ranked No. 21 in the most recent national Division II coaches poll. In addition to the Eagles, 2024 CACC champion Felician University (8-6-3, 4-5-1) has qualified for this year’s event as the No. 6 seed. The quarterfinals will be staged on Sunday at the sites of the higher seeds.

At noon on Sunday, No. 3 seed Wilmington University (10-3-4, 5-2-3) hosts Felician and No. 4 seed Thomas Jefferson University (6-7-4, 4-2-4) welcomes No. 5 seed Holy Family University (6-8-3, 4-3-3). The other two first-round matches will kick off at 1 p.m. in Connecticut. No. 8 seed Georgian Court University (5-8-3, 4-6-0) travels to Post, and No. 7 seed Dominican University New York (4-9-3, 4-5-1) is on the road against No. 2 University of Bridgeport (6-4-7, 5-0-5).

The semifinals will be held on Wednesday, November 12, at 1 p.m. at the sites of the highest remaining seeds. Post is set to host the championship game on Saturday, November 15, at 3 p.m. at LaMoy Field on its Waterbury, Conn., campus. The winner of the 2025 CACC Men’s Soccer Championship will earn the league’s automatic berth into the NCAA Division II Super-Region 1 Tournament.

Tickets for all rounds of the 2025 CACC Men’s Soccer Championship are $10 for adults, and $5 for children, senior citizens (65+) and students with valid identification. Children under three years of age will be admitted free.

Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 20 years.
