United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Awards Include 13 from CACC

Five Conference Schools Have Men's and Women's Teams Recognized

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (August 12, 2026) – Thirteen Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference soccer teams – seven men’s and six women’s -- were among the 777 programs nationwide to earn the 2025-26 United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award, United Soccer Coaches recently announced.

CACC men’s programs honored were the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, and Post University. United Soccer Coaches named the women’s programs from Bridgeport, Caldwell, Dominican University New York, Georgian Court, Holy Family, and Post. UB, Caldwell, GCU, HFU, and Post were five of 175 schools that had both their men’s and women’s programs recognized.

The United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award recognizes collegiate teams that posted a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher for the 2025-26 academic year. The team’s head coach must also be a United Soccer Coaches member. The association honored 326 men’s teams and 451 women’s programs this season.

The 13 CACC teams honored were an improvement from seven in 2024-25.

 

Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 21 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 18 sports – seven for men, 10 for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 11 full members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
