Felician's Anderson Claims Met Writers Player of Week Award

Junior Averaged 29.5 Points During Pair of Golden Falcon Victories

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (December 10, 2025) – Felician University junior guard Jeremiah Anderson has been named the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association Men’s Division II-III Player of the Week for the period ending December 7, the MBWA announced on Tuesday. Edmonds was chosen as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.

Anderson led Felician to a pair of CACC victories last week, averaging 29.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 3.0 steals while shooting 62 percent from the floor. He scored 38 points and added 10 rebounds during a Dec. 3 home win over Caldwell University.

Anderson, who is the Met Player of the Week for the first time in his career, tops the CACC in scoring and sits fourth nationally in Division II with 25.1 points per game.

MBWA weekly awards for Division II-III encompass 50-plus schools in the New York City metropolitan area. This week’s set of MBWA honors were the first for the 2025-26 season.

 

Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 20 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 17 sports – seven for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 11 full members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
