NEW HAVEN, Conn. (December 5, 2025) – The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has become an Enterprise Member of Women Leaders in Sports. The partnership provides more than 65 CACC staff members with access to Women Leaders’ member community, programming, and career resources.
A privately-funded non-profit, Women Leaders in Sports is committed to transforming the landscape of leadership in sports business. Its stated vision includes the empowerment and equipping of women to advance and excel throughout their careers.
The CACC’s Enterprise Membership includes custom leadership training and talent recruitment support. The partnership also provides CACC members with preferred pricing and access to several premier opportunities, as well as networking through professional topic groups called Member Circles.
“The CACC is thrilled to offer community and connection for our women leaders and allies who advocate for increased opportunities for women to grow and thrive in sports industry careers, said CACC Assistant Commissioner Kelsey Lengyel-Jacovich. “As a member of Women Leaders in Sports, I look forward to meeting new people across all levels of sport and sharing ideas, resources and experiences.”
Among the CACC’s longer-serving members in WLS is Katie Rivera, Assistant Director of Athletics at Georgian Court University. Rivera is in her third year as a Title IX Circle lead and is a member of the WLS Awards Committee. Lengyel-Jacovich has been invited to become a circle lead for the Sports Performance Circle.
"There is always something to learn or meaningful to relate with Women Leaders in Sports that leaves you feeling better than you were before," Lengyel-Jacovich said. "I can’t wait for our CACC women leaders and allies to feel empowered, inspired, and to grow through their experiences.”
Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 20 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 17 sports – seven for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 11 full members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
