CACC Names 2,260 to Spring 2026 Academic Honor Roll

Honorees Achieved 3.00+ GPA for Spring Semester

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (July 1, 2026) – The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has recognized 2,260 student-athletes on its Spring 2026 Academic Honor Roll, CACC Commissioner Dan Mara announced today. The total includes student-athletes from the conference’s 11 full-time member institutions and one associate member.

Established in 2023-24, the CACC Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who achieve a grade-point average of 3.00 or higher during a semester and are listed on the institution’s official squad list for their sport. This spring’s total is comprised of athletes from more than 120 teams competing in all 16 CACC championship sports, regardless of season. Each CACC student-athlete is eligible to be recognized on the Academic Honor Roll twice during each academic year.

The CACC Academic Honor Roll honors student-athletes on three levels of achievement. Those earning perfect 4.00 GPAs were granted the Faculty Athletics Representative Award of Distinction. The President’s Level was bestowed upon those achieving GPAs of 3.50 to 3.99. Student-athletes earning GPAs of 3.00 to 3.49 for the semester were honored at the Commissioner’s Level. A total of 368 student-athletes earned the FAR Award of Distinction in spring 2026.

Georgian Court University led the conference with 240 representatives on the Spring 2026 CACC Academic Honor Roll. Holy Family University claimed 237 honorees, followed by Wilmington University with 232, with seven institutions boasting 200 or more. The University of Bridgeport saw the most student-athletes, 47, earn the FAR Award of Distinction (4.00 GPA). Georgian Court and Post had 45 such honorees each.

Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 21 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 18 sports – seven for men, 10 for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 11 full members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
