CACC Announces Fall 2024 Academic Honor Roll

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (February 20, 2025) -- A record 2,256 student-athletes on Thursday were named to the Fall 2024 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Academic Honor Roll for producing a 3.0-or-higher grade point averages for the fall 2024 semester. The total number of honorees come from the conference's 12 full-time member institutions and Lincoln University, which serves as an associate member in both baseball and women's soccer.

The total number of honorees comes from nearly 180 teams spread out across the conference, regardless of which season they compete in (fall, winter and spring seasons). The CACC will also announce a Spring 2025 Academic Honor Roll in late May/early June recognizing its student-athletes who post spring semester GPAs of 3.0 or higher. Each CACC student-athlete is eligible to be recognized on the Academic Honor Roll twice during each academic year (fall and spring semesters). To be placed on the Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a member of a team's official squad list and achieve the 3.0-or-better GPA for that semester only.

The CACC is proud of its academic success as the conference boasts the smallest geographic footprint of any league in NCAA Division II. Each member schools is located within four hours of each other, which means no overnight trips are necessary for in-season conference games. Less time traveling means more time for student-athletes in the classroom and competing in the sports they love. The Fall 2024 Academic Honor Roll numbers support the conference's claim of less travel and more class time produces outstanding academic numbers.

The CACC is also among the NCAA D2 leaders in academic success rate and graduation rate, consistently ranking among the top five nationally in both categories on an annual basis.
