NEW HAVEN, Conn. (June 23, 2026) – The winners of the 2025-26 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Team GPA Awards were announced on Tuesday by CACC Commissioner Dan Mara. The awards were bestowed upon the programs with the highest team grade-point average for the academic year in each of the CACC’s 16 championship sports.
Eight different member schools earned at least one CACC Team GPA Award in 2025-26, with Thomas Jefferson University leading the conference with four. Georgian Court University claimed three honors while Felician University, Post University, and Wilmington University captured two each. Earning one Team GPA Award apiece were Chestnut Hill College, Goldey-Beacom College, and Holy Family University.
Six winners repeated from a year ago. That group included Holy Family women’s basketball, Felician women’s bowling and men’s golf, Georgian Court men’s cross-country, Post women’s tennis, and Jefferson women’s track & field.
Three Team GPA Award winners also captured this year’s conference championship in their sport – Georgian Court men’s track & field and Wilmington baseball and men’s lacrosse. Five of the honored teams, including both Wilmington squads above, Holy Family women’s basketball, Post men’s soccer, and Jefferson women’s soccer, won their sport’s regular-season title.
League-wide, 85.6 percent of teams (131 of 153) that met NCAA sport-sponsorship standards produced a GPA of 3.00 or better for the 2025-26 campaign. Five sports – women’s basketball, women’s lacrosse, women’s soccer, women’s tennis, and women's volleyball – saw all competing teams achieve a mark of 3.00 or higher. Institutionally, four schools – Holy Family (14), Jefferson (14), Georgian Court (12), and Post (11) – had all of its teams competing in CACC-sponsored sports produce a team GPA of at least 3.00.
