CACC WOMEN’S TENNIS – September 30, 2025

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

SIANA MacDONALD, Wilmington (SO, Novina, Singapore) – Became the first Wilmington player to reach the final of an ITA East Regional Championship. Won five matches at ITA regionals before falling to a player from Queens in the championship match. Also won a match in doubles, reaching the round of 16 with Liza Sylka. Won at No. 3 doubles during her team’s 4-3 setback to Jefferson on Sept. 24.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

ANOUK ODERKERK, Jefferson (FR, Stenungsund, Sweden) – Led the Rams to a 3-0 week, including a 4-3 victory over Wilmington that snapped the Wildcats’ 18-match CACC winning streak. Went 3-0 at No. 1 singles, dropping just seven total games, and 2-1 at No. 1 doubles.

 

HONOR ROLL

LILIAN BANDEL, Chestnut Hill – Went 3-1 in singles and 1-1 in doubles at ITA Regionals, reaching the round of 16 in each.
ANA VASILIS, Post – Advanced to the round of 16 in both singles and doubles at ITA Regionals.
