CACC MEN’S BASKETBALL – January 5, 2026

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

JEREMIAH ANDERSON, Felician (JR, G, Brooklyn, N.Y.) – Averaged 25.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 4.0 steals during a 2-0 week for the Golden Falcons. Shot 59 percent from the field and was 8 of 10 at the foul line. Scored 33 points during a 91-77 home win over Southern New Hampshire on Dec. 31.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

TERENCE THOMPSON, Caldwell (FR, F, Rochester, N.Y.) – Recorded 11 points, 12 rebounds, and three blocked shots during the Cougars’ 69-65 victory at Holy Family on Saturday. With the game tied and fewer than four minutes remaining, blocked a dunk attempt that touched off a fast-break layup which put Caldwell ahead to stay.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

JEREMIAH DORSEY, Jefferson (JR, G, Queens, N.Y.) – Picked up six steals and a block as the Rams forced 21 Pace turnovers in an 86-82 victory on Dec. 31. Also scored 27 points.

 

HONOR ROLL

TRE HAWKINS, Wilmington – Shot 54 percent and averaged 21.5 points and 6.5 rebounds during a 1-1 week for the Wildcats.
ELIJAH HERNANDEZ, Holy Family – Amassed 16.0 points and 5.0 assists per game during the Tigers’ 1-1 week.
DeANGELO HORN, Caldwell – Scored 17 of his 18 points in the second half to key a Cougar victory over Holy Family. Added seven rebounds.
ELIJAH PETERS, Dominican – Came off the bench to net 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting during a loss to Wilmington.
TRE POWELL, Goldey-Beacom – Averaged 16.0 points and 5.5 assists as the Lightning split a pair of contests.
ISAIAH SULLIVAN, Bridgeport – Averaged 19.5 points and 5.5 rebounds during a 2-0 week for the Purple Knights.
