Wilmington's Traineau Earns Rookie Honor; Rams' Perrin Repeats as Top Coach

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (October 15, 2026) – Thomas Jefferson University sophomore Anouk Oderkerk has been selected as the 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women’s Tennis Player of the Year. Oderkerk, who was also voted onto the All-CACC First Team, headlines the CACC all-conference teams and major award winners announced today by Commissioner Dan Mara. The voting was conducted by the league’s seven head coaches in the sport.

Wilmington University freshman Claire Traineau was voted the CACC Rookie of the Year. Jefferson head coach Fred Perrin repeated as the Athletic Solutions CACC Coach of the Year.

Oderkerk is 10-0 at No. 1 singles this fall. She has an overall record of 15-4, including a 5-3 mark at No. 1 doubles. Last weekend she captured the ITA Division II East Region singles championship. She was the CACC Rookie of the Year in 2025.

Traineau spent much of her time at the No. 1 spots on the ladder as a freshman for the Wildcats, helping Wilmington to a 7-5 record and the No. 3 seed for this weekend’s CACC Championship tournament. She owns personal won-lost records of 6-4 in singles and 6-2 in doubles. Traineau was a three-time CACC Rookie of the Week.

Perrin has guided Jefferson to an 11-1 record and a share of the CACC regular-season championship. Now in his fourth season, Perrin and the Rams are coming off an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2025-26.
