WILMINGTON, Del. (October 17, 2026) – No. 1 seed Queens (N.Y. ) College and No. 2 seed Thomas Jefferson University will meet in the championship final of the 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women’s Tennis Championship tournament. Queens and Jefferson advanced to the final with semifinal victories on Saturday at the Delcastle Tennis Center. The event is being hosted by Wilmington University.
Queens moved on with a 4-1 victory over No. 4 seed Chestnut Hill College on Saturday. Jefferson followed by eliminating third-seeded and five-time defending champion Wilmington, 4-1. The Knights are in their first season as a CACC associate member for women’s tennis, while the Rams will play in the final for the fifth time in the last six years. They will meet for the crown on Sunday at noon at Delcastle.
Chestnut Hill (9-6) surged ahead of the Knights, using a 11-9 tiebreak victory by Fabienne Lahn and Tia Kaukenas at No. 3 doubles to capture the doubles point after the first two completed matches were split. But Queens (12-1) quickly tilted the day its way in singles. Sixtine Goubet at No. 1, Ela Vasic at No. 2, and Anishka Amalnathan at No. 4 lost only seven games combined in straight-set victories to put the Knights on the brink of advancing. Less than 15 minutes later, Lilie Bizouerne won a second-set tiebreak to end her match at No. 4 and the Knights had moved on.
Similarly, the Rams (12-1) and Wildcats began their afternoon by each taking a doubles match. The first team point came down to the No. 1 flight, where Jefferson’s Anouk Oderkerk and Alycia Veroux came out on top. Wilmington (7-6) drew even with a win by Anna Marry at No. 6 singles, but the Rams’ Oderkerk (No. 1) and Kalomoira Ralli (No. 4) put their team within one point of victory with straight-sets wins. The clincher came from Madina Omarova at No. 3, who finished off a 6-4, 6-4 triumph and ended the Wildcats’ impressive title run.
