CACC Men's Basketball Field Takes Shape on Season's Final Day

Felician Grabs No. 1 Seed; Quarterfinals Set for Tuesday

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (February 28, 2026) – The field and schedule for the 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men’s Basketball Championship tournament were released today by CACC Commissioner Dan Mara. The announcement followed a final day of regular-season competition which determined the event’s last two qualifiers and several seedings.

After winning its first outright conference regular-season title, Felician University heads into the eight-team, single-elimination CACC Tournament as the No. 1 seed. The event begins with the quarterfinals on March 3 before Caldwell University hosts the semifinals and finals on Saturday and Sunday, March 7 and 8. Tuesday’s games will be held at the sites of the higher seeds. Felician (24-3, 19-1) will host No. 8 seed Holy Family University (13-15, 7-13) in Rutherford, N.J. In nearby Caldwell at the same time, the No. 4 seed Cougars (14-14, 12-8) will entertain No. 5 Post University (12-16, 11-9). The other two first-round matchups will tip off at 6 p.m. No. 2 seed Goldey-Beacom College (19-9, 13-7) will entertain No. 7 seed Georgian Court University (10-18, 7-13) in Wilmington, Del. Meanwhile, No. 6 seed Dominican University New York (13-15, 10-10) will travel to Philadelphia to take on No. 3 seed Thomas Jefferson University (16-11, 12-8).

The semifinals are set for Saturday at Caldwell’s George R. Newman Center at noon and 2 p.m. Caldwell will also host the championship game on Sunday at noon. The winner of the 2026 CACC Men’s Basketball Championship will earn the league’s automatic berth into the NCAA Division II East Region Championship tournament.

Tickets for all rounds of the 2026 CACC Men’s Basketball Championship are $10 for adults and $5 for children, senior citizens (65+) and students with valid identification. Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 20 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 17 sports – seven for men, nine for women, and one co-ed.
