NEW HAVEN, Conn. (March 3, 2026) – No. 6 seed Dominican University New York was the only road team to earn a victory during the quarterfinals of the 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men’s Basketball Championship tournament on Tuesday night. Dominican will join No. 1 seed Felician University, No. 2 seed Goldey-Beacom College, and No. 4 Caldwell University in Saturday’s semifinals.

Dominican traveled to Philadelphia, Pa., to top No. 3 seed Thomas Jefferson University, 88-71, while Goldey-Beacom edged No 7 seed Georgian Court University, 88-87, in Wilmington, Del. On the other side of the bracket, Felician withstood a challenge from No. 8 Holy Family University, coming away with an 86-76 win in Rutherford, N.J., and in Caldwell, N.J., the Cougars handled Post University, 70-54.
The tournament now moves to Caldwell, which will host the semifinals and finals at its George R. Newman Center. On Saturday, Felician takes on Caldwell at noon, followed by Goldey-Beacom facing Dominican at 2 p.m. Saturday’s winners will meet in the championship final on Sunday at noon. The 2026 CACC champion will earn the league’s automatic berth into the NCAA Division II East Region Championship.

No. 1 FELICIAN 86, No. 8 HOLY FAMILY 76
The Golden Falcons (25-3) closed with a 10-1 run over the final 1:19 to finally break free of the Tigers and set the program record for victories. With Felician clinging to a two-point lead, a steal, layup, and free throw by Jaden Rogers at 0:55 keyed the final spurt. Jeremiah Anderson produced game highs of 27 points and six assists. Matt Gardler scored 21 points for Holy Family (13-16).
No. 4 CALDWELL 70, No. 5 POST 54
The Cougars (15-14) netted the game’s final 10 points to pull away. Melvin Evans led a balanced Caldwell offense with 15 points, and teammate DeAngelo Horn amassed 13 points and 12 rebounds. Ta’Quan Williams finished with 15 points and eight rebounds for the Eagles (12-17).
No. 2 GOLDEY-BEACOM 88, No. 7 GEORGIAN COURT 87
A tiebreaking putback and free throw by Julian Williams with 26 seconds remaining provided the eventual winning margin for the Lightning (20-9). Goldey-Beacom’s Tre Powell totaled 33 points, eight rebounds, and five assists, and teammate Emarquis Jones had 23 points (6-8 FG) and 12 rebounds. Cam Edmonds, the CACC’s top scorer, tallied 31 points and five assists for the Lions (10-19).
No. 6 DOMINICAN 88, No. 3 JEFFERSON 71
A 14-3 run midway through the second half allowed the Chargers to open a double-digit lead, which they maintained for most of the final nine minutes. Dominican (14-15) received 24 points (11-15 FG) and 11 rebounds from Koi D. Kirk Jr. and 21 points from Chance Morrish. Jeremiah Dorsey had 21 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, and four steals for the Rams (16-12).
