CACC SOFTBALL – March 23, 2026

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MYA JONES, Bridgeport (SR, IF, Milford, Del.) – Went 10 for 14 with three doubles and a home run while playing five games of a 2-4 week for the Purple Knights. Added three walks for a .765 on-base percentage while slugging 1.143. Scored four runs and drove in five. Hit in all five games with three multi-hit efforts. Went 4 for 7 with three doubles and four RBI during Saturday’s conference-opening split with Holy Family.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK

MOLLY SKELLY, Goldey-Beacom (JR, R, Blackwood, N.J.) – Permitted one run on five hits and one walk over 13 innings to earn a pair of victories. Struck out five batters over six innings as the Lightning topped Lincoln, 9-1, in Game 1 on Mar. 19. Tossed a two-hit shutout in a 3-0 win against Dominican in Saturday’s doubleheader opener.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

KENDALL MAZUR, Caldwell (FR, OF, Millville, N.J.) – Hit .538 with two doubles, eight RBI and three stolen bases during a 4-0 week for the Cougars. Hit in all four games with three-multi-hit contests. Delivered walk-off RBI single in 6-5 Game 1 win over Jefferson on Sunday.

 

HONOR ROLL

EMILY KURTH, Caldwell – Hit .429 with two doubles, a home run, and seven RBI during a 4-0 week for the Cougars.
KATIE O’CONNOR, Caldwell – Was 2-0 with a 2.00 ERA and eight strikeouts in two starts in the pitching circle.
LIV STEVENS, Jefferson – Hit .522 with five doubles, five runs, and seven RBI during a 2-4 week for the Rams.
KIM TORRES, Felician – Went 4 for 8 with a home run and four RBI during a doubleheader split with Staten Island.
KELSEY VITALIS, Felician – Pitched 4 2/3 innings of hitless relief during a win over Staten Island.
MADDIE VOLLMAR, Felician – Homered during each end of a doubleheader split with St. Thomas Aquinas, finishing 3 for 6 with three runs scored.
