CACC WOMEN’S OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD – March 24, 2026
TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
RYLEY DIXON, Goldey-Beacom (SO, Pilesgrove, N.J.) – Took the gold medal in both the 200-meter (25.27 seconds) and 400-meter (59.10) races at the West Chester Purple & Gold Open. Vaulted to the top of the CACC performance lists in both events. Helped the Lightning to a third-place result in the team standings.
FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
FIONA RICHARDS, Bridgeport (GR, Portland, Jamaica) – Became the first CACC student-athlete to reach a provisional NCAA qualifying standard, tossing the discus 46.65 meters to place third at the Charlotte 49er Classic. Also had the league’s best performance in the hammer throw, at 44.97 meters.
TRACK ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
OLIVIA GRAHN, Jefferson (FR, Stockholm, Sweden) – Set the Ram record in the 5000-meter run with a 17:33.35. Won the event at the West Chester Purple & Gold Open by 71 seconds. Helped Jefferson to fourth place in the team standings.
FIELD ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
SIGURLAUG SVEINSDOTTIR, Georgian Court (FR, Akureyri, Iceland) – Finished second in the shot put at the Stockton Invitational with a toss of 12.10 meters. That effort tops the 2026 CACC performance list and is among the top 10 in Lion history. Also finished third in the long jump (5.05m).
HONOR ROLL
JULIANA BALLESTEROS, Caldwell – Finished 10th in the javelin at the Stockton Invite with the best effort by a CACC thrower this season.
DANALEE BROCK, Holy Family – Took the silver medal in the 400-meter hurdles and as part of two relay teams at the Stockton Invite.
ADRIANNA FODERA, Georgian Court – Reached the podium in the hammer throw and the shot put at the Stockton Invite.
ISABELLA MACK, Dominican – Won the long jump and ran a CACC-qualifying 100-meter time at the Purple & Gold Open.
NATALIE McFADDEN, Jefferson – Won the 1500 meters and was third in the 800 at the Purple & Gold Open.
JOURDYN RUMPH, Goldey-Beacom – Won the hammer throw and shot put and was second in the discus at the Purple & Gold Open.
