CACC MEN’S LACROSSE – March 30, 2026

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

JAMES NAPOLI, Bridgeport (SR, A, Wantagh, N.Y.) – Piled up 16 goals and added three assists and four ground balls during a 2-0 week for the Purple Knights. Recorded six goals, an assist, and two grounders during a 21-5 road win over American International on Mar. 25. Scored the game’s first five goals, and assisted on the sixth, of an eventual 25-2 league win over Caldwell on Saturday, finishing with a CACC record-tying 10 goals and two helpers on 11 shots.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

PARKER SMITH, Holy Family (FR, M, Dover, Del.) – Found the cage three times in each game of a 2-0 week for the Tigers. Scored the game-tying goal with 16 seconds remaining in regulation of a 14-13 overtime victory over Dominican on Mar. 25. Was credited with the game-winner as HFU topped Georgian Court, 12-9, on Saturday.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

LUCA RUNYAN, Bridgeport (SR, LSM, Levittown, N.Y.) – Totaled 16 ground balls and six caused turnovers as the Purple Knights held opponents to seven goals on 40 shots during a 2-0 week. Totaled 10 ground balls and caused three turnovers during a 21-5 win at American International on Mar. 25. Recorded six ground balls, three caused turnovers, and five assists as UB defeated Caldwell, 25-2, on Saturday.

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK

AIDEN WALLER, Post (SO, G, Little Britain, Ontario) – Played all 120 minutes of a 2-0 week, facing 53 shots, making 24 saves, and allowing 15 goals. Added three ground balls and a caused turnover. Stopped 11 shots during a 9-8 win at Chowan on Mar. 24 and made 13 saves during the Eagles’ 12-7 win over Dominican on Saturday.

 

HONOR ROLL

JAMES BIENIA, Holy Family – Tallied seven points, five ground balls, and two caused turnovers during a 2-0 week for the Tigers.
LEIGHTON COOKE, Post – Scored seven goals with an assist and four ground balls during a 2-0 week for the Eagles.
EVAN DUPRAS, Dominican – Amassed nine points and five ground balls in two appearances for the Chargers.
HARRISON JORDAN, Georgian Court – Accumulated nine goals, three assists, and eight ground balls during a 1-1 week for the Lions. Surpassed 100 career points.
ADAM WICKEL, Holy Family – Had 16 saves and nine goals allowed during a victory over Georgian Court.
CONNOR WIDMER, Wilmington – Went 11 for 12 on faceoffs with five ground balls during a victory over Felician.
