CALDWELL, N.J. (March 7, 2026) – The tournament’s top two seeds will meet in the final round of the 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women’s Basketball Championship. No. 1 seed Holy Family University will take on No. 2 seed Felician University on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Caldwell University’s George R. Newman Center.

Holy Family and Felician advanced with semifinal victories on Saturday in Caldwell. The Tigers, the tournament’s defending champions and the No. 19-ranked team in the latest national NCAA Division II coaches poll, began the evening with a 67-59 victory over No. 4 seed Chestnut Hill College. The Golden Falcons followed with a 65-61 triumph over Caldwell University, the event’s predetermined host and No. 3 seed. Sunday’s winner will not only be named CACC champion but will earn the conference’s automatic berth into the NCAA D-II East Region Championship tournament.
The programs have disparate championship histories. Holy Family will be playing in the final for the 16th time and seeking its 11th CACC title. Felician, meanwhile, has reached the conference championship game for the first occasion. The Tigers won both of the teams’ 2025-26 regular-season meetings.
Tickets the 2026 CACC Women’s Basketball Championship final are $10 for adults and $5 for children, senior citizens (65+) and students with valid identification. NO. 1 HOLY FAMILY 67, No. 4 CHESTNUT HILL 59
The Griffins scored the game’s first 11 points and still led, 30-27, at halftime. The score was even, 48-48, with 7:12 to play, before the Tigers (27-3) pulled away with a 11-2 run over the next four-plus minutes. CACC Player of the Year Taylor Hinkle tallied 29 points and 16 rebounds to lead HFU. Skyler Searfoss added nine points, five rebounds, and six assists. Tikyra Miller scored 20 points and Tiayo Adelekan had 13 points and 15 rebounds for CHC (16-14).
No. 2 FELICIAN 65, No. 3 CALDWELL 61
The Golden Falcons scored the final nine points of a contest that saw 11 lead changes. Felician secured the victory when CACC Defensive Player of the Year Ane Valle made a steal and breakaway layup with one second remaining. Stephanie Formby totaled 22 points and six rebounds and Karla Barreno netted 10 points for Felician. Neysa Aguilar led Caldwell with 21 points while Lucy Coogan had 17 points and 10 rebounds.
