The meet was scored on a 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 basis. The Lions had five event winners, including four in field events, and it was their depth in the field that carried the hosts to the title. GCU picked up 107 of its points in field events, including 64 in the four throws.
The top two finishers in each of the 20 events were named to the All-CACC team, with the victor earning First-Team status and the runner-up receiving Second Team honors. The host Lions led the way with 11 all-conference honorees while Jefferson collected nine. The Rams joined Georgian Court in having five gold medalists.
Five meet records were set on the weekend, including four by Jefferson. Olivia Grahn broke a pair, in the 5,000-meter run (18:02.05) and the 3,000-meter steeplechase (10:57.06). Annalee Capuano eclipsed her own record in the 1500 meters (4:46.47), and Milana Daiute set the mark in the 10,000 meters (39:41.57). Goldey-Beacom College’s Ryley Dixon set the meet standard in the 200 meters (24.69).
Five athletes were double-winners in individual events – Georgian Court’s Daizhae’ Brown (long jump, triple jump), Capuano (800m, 1500m), Dixon (200m, 400m), Grahn (5000m, 3000m steeplechase), and Aarysa Moore of Felician (100m hurdles, high jump).
