NEW HAVEN, Conn. (May 18, 2026) – Thomas Jefferson University freshman Olivia Grahn has been named the 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women’s Track Athlete of the Year and Track Rookie of the Year. Georgian Court University freshman Daizhae’ Brown has been selected the 2026 CACC Women’s Field Athlete of the Year and Field Rookie of the Year. The voting was conducted by the league’s 10 head coaches and the results announced today by CACC Commissioner Dan Mara.
Georgian Court head coach Mike Murawski was voted the 2026 Athletic Solutions CACC Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Coach of the Year by his peers. GCU is also the winner of the annual Team Sportsmanship Award.
Grahn, from Stockholm, Sweden, won two events at the 2026 CACC Championship meet – the 5,000-meter run and the 3,000-meter steeplechase – and set meet records in both. She was a USTFCCCA Division II All-East Region honoree in three events, adding the 10,000 meters to the 5,000 and steeplechase, and finished 39th on the national D-II performance list in the steeplechase. Grahn was also the 2025 CACC Runner of the Year and Rookie of the Year in women’s cross country.
Brown was the gold medalist in both the long jump and triple jump at the CACC Championships, and finished fifth in the high jump. The Mays Landing, N.J., resident also crossed over to the track to finish second in the 100-meter dash and run a leg for the Lions’ 4x100-meter relay team which took bronze. Brown earned all-region honors in the long jump, finishing third on the regional performance list.
Muraski is the CACC Women’s Outdoor Coach of the Year for the sixth time (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019). During his 14 seasons at Georgian Court, he has now earned 18 Coach of the Year honors for men’s and women’s track & field and cross-country. GCU captured its record ninth CACC championship this spring, claimed 11 all-conference performers, including five First-Team honorees, and placed four athletes all-East Region team.
Muraski’s Lions were also the coaches’ choice for the Team Sportsmanship Award for displaying class and character throughout the outdoor season.

Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 20 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 17 sports – seven for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 11 full members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
