New Alignment, Same Championship Host for CACC Women's Tennis

For Sixth Consecutive Year, Wilmington to Welcome Participants to Delcastle TC

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (August 13, 2026) – Wilmington University has been chosen as the host school for the 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women’s Tennis Championship tournament. The two-day, single-elimination event will be held at the Delcastle Tennis Center in Wilmington, Del., on Oct. 17-18.

Wilmington is hosting the CACC Championship for the sixth consecutive year. The Wildcats are also the tournament’s five-time defending champions. Delcastle has six outdoor and six indoor courts and the event would move indoors in the event of inclement weather.

The CACC has a new conference alignment for women’s tennis for 2026-27. Dominican University New York and Goldey-Beacom College have discontinued their programs. The conference has added three associate members – the University of the District of Columbia, Queens (N.Y.) College, and St. Thomas Aquinas College – to join holdover full members Chestnut Hill College, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington.

The top four teams in the regular-season standings will advance to the Championship. During Saturday’s semifinals, the No. 4 seed will play the No. 1 seed, followed by the No. 3 seed facing the No. 2 seed. Saturday’s winners will meet for the title on Sunday. The CACC champion will automatically qualify for the 2027 NCAA East Regional Championship in May.

The CACC Network will provide live coverage of the tournament.
