NEW HAVEN, Conn. (August 3, 2026) – The 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse Championship finals will be hosted by Dominican University New York on Saturday, May 8, at O’Brien Field in Orangeburg, N.Y.
For the fourth consecutive year, only the CACC championship finals will be held at the host site. The first round and semifinals of each single-elimination tournament will take place at the campus sites of the higher seeds, culminating with the pair of title games at Dominican. The Chargers hosted the finals of both CACC Lacrosse Championships in 2024, and provided the site of the men’s championship game a year later.
The men’s tournament is a five-team event while the women’s tournament will be a six-team field, both based on the regular-season standings. On the women’s side, two first-round games will take place on May 2, with the semifinals scheduled for May 4. One first-round men’s contest will occur on May 3 and the semis will follow on May 5.
Wilmington University is the defending champion of both tournaments. The Wildcat men defeated Chestnut Hill College to win the 2026 CACC title, while the Wilmington women knocked off 2026 regular-season champion Dominican to end the Chargers’ three-year championship run. The 2027 CACC men’s and women’s champions will automatically qualify for their respective NCAA Division II Championship tournament.
Admission for all rounds of the championships is $10 for adults and $5 for children, students, and senior citizens. The CACC Network will also provide live coverage of all games.
