CACC WOMEN’S TENNIS – October 13, 2025

Co-PLAYER OF THE WEEK

CAMILLA FRANZIN, Goldey-Beacom (SO, Trieste, Italy) – Went 2-1 in singles and 3-0 in doubles, all at the No. 1 position, as the Lightning inched closer to clinching a CACC postseason berth with a 2-1 week. Her only loss came in a third-set tiebreak to fellow co-winner Siana MacDonald of Wilmington.

Co-PLAYER OF THE WEEK

SIANA MacDONALD, Wilmington (SO, Novina, Singapore) – Captured both of her matches at No. 1 singles as the Wildcats went 2-0 in conference play. Also split a pair at No. 2 doubles on the week.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

ELENA CAMACHO, Wilmington (FR, Madrid, Spain) – Was a double-winner during the Wildcats’ conference victories over Goldey-Beacom, 6-1, on Oct. 6, and Post, 7-0, on Oct. 8. Played at No. 4 singles and both the first and third doubles spots.

 

HONOR ROLL

ROSE HUANG, Jefferson – Was a double-winner to help the Rams stay undefeated with a victory over UDC.
VERONIKA LUNDGREN, Chestnut Hill – Went 1-1 in singles and 2-0 in doubles as CHC split a pair of matches.
CLAUDIA RASILLA ROMERO, Chestnut Hill – Was a combined 4-0 in singles and doubles during a 1-1 week for the Griffins.
MARTA VAZQUEZ, Jefferson – Won at No. 3 singles and doubles as the Rams topped UDC.
