Rams Win CACC Women's Cross-Country Meet in Historic Fashion

Jefferson Sweeps Top Seven Spots for Eighth Title in Last Nine Years

PHILADELPHIA (October 26, 2025) – Event host Thomas Jefferson University captured the team title with a record-setting performance at the 2025 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women’s Cross-Country Championship meet on Sunday morning at Belmont Plateau.

Not only did Jefferson score the minimum possible 15 points, but the first seven runners to cross the finish line were all Rams. Jefferson becomes the first team – men’s or women’s – to accomplish the latter feat in the history of the meet, which has been contested since 2000. The previous women’s meet record of 27 points was set by the Rams last year.

Wilmington University placed second with 79 points, followed by Felician University with 110. Complete results in the 10-team event are linked above.

The Rams were led by individual champion Olivia Grahn, a freshman, who topped a field of 63 entrants with a time of 19 minutes, 14 seconds, for 5,000 meters. Jefferson junior Natalie McFadden was second in 20:07, and senior Hannah Powell placed third with a time of 20:20.

The Jefferson pack kept coming. Freshman Milana Daiute was fourth in 20:29, followed by teammates Annalee Capuano, a senior (5th, 20:41), freshman Kylee Black (6th, 21:00), and sophomore Sarah Lorenz (7th, 21:04).

Jefferson won the CACC women’s cross-country championship for the record 15th time, all guided by head coach Dave Thomas. The Rams took their third consecutive crown and their eighth in the last nine years.
