PLAYER OF THE WEEK

GIJS VAN EIF, Georgian Court (JR, F, Kortenhoef, Netherlands) – Had a hand in all four Lion goals during a 2-0 week. Scored a goal in each half of GCU’s 2-0 league victory over Chestnut Hill on Oct. 1. Followed with a goal and an assist during Saturday’s 2-1 triumph over Caldwell. Has eight goals in his last four games.

ROOKIE AND DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

AGNALDO GERMANO, Post (FR, D, Naugatuck, Conn.) – Played 163 minutes on the back line as the No. 14 Eagles went 1-0-1. Helped Post limit opponents to a combined six shots on goal during a 0-0 draw with Dominican and a 3-1 victory over Holy Family.

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK

AYENDI BATISTA, Georgian Court (SR, GK, Jackson, N.J.) – Did not allow a goal in the run of play and combined for 12 saves during a 2-0 week for the Lions. Made seven saves during a 2-0 shuout victory over Chestnut Hill on Oct. 1. Stopped five shots and allowed only a penalty kick goal during Saturday’s 2-1 win over Caldwell. Faced 33 shots on the week.

DAVID ARTEAGA, Dominican – Made three saves during a 0-0 tie with No. 14 Post.
LEOPOLD DUFAUT, Post – Allowed one goal and made five total saves during a 1-0-1 week for the Eagles.
ABDOULAYE KAMAGATE, Chestnut Hill – Scored twice, including the game-winner, during the Griffins’ 3-2 win over Virginia State as part of a 1-1 week.
YUSUF MAHMOUD, Felician – Picked up a pair of goals during a loss to Goldey-Beacom.
KRISTIANS PRIEDITIS, Bridgeport – Scored with seven seconds remaining to help UB earn a 1-1 tie with regionally-ranked Bentley.
LUIS RODRIGUES, Post – Recorded the first hat trick by an Eagle in three years, netting all three of his team’s goals during a win over Holy Family.
J.R. SEXTON, Jefferson – Played to a 1.00 GAA and combined for nine saves during an 0-0-2 week.
