Post, Wilmington Join Conference Champion Bridgeport in Super-Region 1

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (November 18, 2025) – The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference will be well-represented in the 2025 NCAA Division II Men’s Soccer Super-Region 1 Championship tournament. CACC Champion and automatic qualifier University of Bridgeport has been joined in the field by at-large selections Post University and Wilmington University. The 40-team field for the NCAA Division II Men’s Soccer Championship was announced by the NCAA on Monday evening.

Wilmington (11-3-5) is playing in the NCAA Tournament for the seventh time and the first since 2021. The Wildcats drew the No. 7 seed in the Super-Region and will meet East Coast Conference champion Roberts Wesleyan University in the first round. The match will be hosted by Franklin Pierce University on Friday at 6 p.m. in Rindge, N.H. The winner will face Franklin Pierce on Sunday.

Post (9-2-7) and Bridgeport (8-4-8) were seeded No. 8 and No. 9, respectively, setting up a CACC Championship final rematch between the Connecticut foes. The Purple Knights defeated Post, 4-3, in last Saturday’s conference title game. Both sides will travel to Manchester, N.H., for a 3 p.m. first-round kickoff on Friday on the campus of Southern New Hampshire University, with the winner taking on SNHU on Sunday.
