Jefferson No. 4, Wilmington No. 8 in D-II East Women's Soccer

Rams, Wildcats Set to Host CACC Quarterfinal Matches on Saturday

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (November 6, 2025) – Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference members Thomas Jefferson University and Wilmington University are among the eight teams listed in the latest 2025 NCAA Division II East Region Women’s Soccer Ranking, the D-II Women’s Soccer Committee released on Wednesday. Jefferson is ranked No. 4 in the region, while Wilmington is the East’s No. 8 team.

Jefferson (14-1-1, 10-0-1 CACC) has captured its third consecutive CACC regular-season championship. The Rams are the top seed for the conference championship tournament, which begins on Saturday. Wilmington (9-2-6, 5-1-5) is the No. 4 seed for the CACC Tournament and will also host a first-round playoff game on Saturday. The winner of the CACC Tournament receives an automatic berth into the NCAA Championship tournament.

The NCAA will announce the 56-team field for the 2025 D-II Women’s Soccer Championship on Monday, November 17 at 6:30 p.m. The East Region will receive automatic qualifiers from the CACC, East Coast Conference, and Northeast 10 Conference and three at-large berths.

Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 20 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 17 sports – seven for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 11 full members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
