PLAYER OF THE WEEK
SARA TAMOUN, Chestnut Hill (SR, G/F, Easton, Pa.) – Led the Griffins to a 78-57 victory over Post in their conference opener on Nov. 25. Scored 24 points and added nine rebounds and three assists. Shot 9 for 15 from the floor, including 5 of 9 from three-point range.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
LILLA SZILVASSY, Felician (FR, F/G, Torokbalint, Hungary) – Helped the Golden Falcons to a 2-0 week by shooting 59 percent and recording 16.5 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per contest. Scored 24 points with 15 rebounds in 81-51 conference-opening win over Jefferson on Nov. 25.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JAH’NEL LEWIS, Caldwell (JR, G, Jersey City, N.J.) – Grabbed four steals each during Cougar victories over Goldey-Beacom on Nov. 25 and St. Thomas Aquinas on Sunday. Played 74 minutes and averaged 4.0 defensive rebounds as team held opponents to 36-percent shooting.
HONOR ROLL
STEPHANIE FORMBY, Felician – Averaged 19.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 3.0 blocks during a 2-0 week for the Golden Falcons.
TAYLOR HINKLE, Holy Family – Averaged 14.5 points and 13.0 rebounds during a 1-1 week for the No. 24 Tigers.
CAYLA HOWARD, Dominican – Averaged 16.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.5 blocks, and 2.5 steals as the Chargers split a pair of league games.
SKY PRIESTER, Dominican – Shot 63 percent and averaged 17.5 points and 4.5 assists during the Chargers’ 1-1 week.
GABBY RECINTO, Jefferson – Averaged 15.5 points and 10.0 rebounds during two Ram contests.
ALYSSA ROSSIGNOL, Post – Made overtime buzzer-beater in victory over AIC. Scored 18.0 points with 7.0 rebounds per game during the Eagles’ 1-1 week.
