NEW HAVEN, Conn. (December 12, 2025) – Post University seniors Alyssa Groves and Kristina Peric were chosen to the 2025 Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association Women’s Volleyball All-America First Team, the D2 CCA announced on Wednesday. Directors of athletics communications from NCAA Division II institutions and conference offices conducted the voting.
Also on Wednesday, Groves, Peric, and Holy Family University senior Ava Kidd were named Honorable Mention All-Americans by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
Groves, a libero from Phoenix, Ariz., earns All-America honors for the second consecutive season. She set the all-time Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference digs record, finishing her career with 2,591. Groves, who led the CACC with 5.70 digs per set and was second with 0.55 aces per set, was the 2024 and 2025 CACC Defensive Player of the Year.
Peric leads NCAA Division II in kills per set (5.22) and points per set (5.75). The outside hitter from Belgrade, Serbia, set the Post single-season school record of 621 kills en route to being named CACC and D2 CCA East Region Player of the Year. Groves and Peric helped lead the Eagles to a 26-6 overall won-lost record, the CACC North Division regular-season championship, and their first trip to the NCAA Tournament Round of 32.
Peric becomes Post’s 15th unique All-American across all sports.
Kidd, who topped the CACC with a .355 attack percentage at middle blocker, was a First-Team All-CACC, First-Team D2 CCA All-Region, and First-Team AVCA All-Region selection. She helped Holy Family to the CACC South Division regular-season co-championship, a trip to the conference finals, and a spot in the NCAA Round of 32.
The D2 CCA All-America process began at the regional level, with all first-team all-region picks advancing to the national ballot. This is the 19th year of the program.
Founded in 1961, the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has been affiliated with NCAA Division II for 20 years. Conference institutions compete for championships in 17 sports – seven for men, nine for women, and one co-ed. The CACC contains 11 full members in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Membership includes the University of Bridgeport, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Dominican University New York, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Post University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Wilmington University.
